Description

WEITEX portable platform Scale is robust in construction and ensures a long life of accurate weighing even under most adverse conditions. The platform is supported on ball bearings. This feature along with the exceptional strength of design construction makes this scale particularly suitable for wholesale and retail establishments, warehouses, stores and for use generally on docks, railway stations and goods depots.

Platform

The Platform is made of cast iron and is bolted with a solid drawn steel backrail

Indicator

The steel yard is graduated upto the full capacity for easy reading. The index plate is fitted at an inclined position on which the smooth and effortless runnning poise makes weighing quick and simple. The notch protection bar minimises the wear of the steelyard notches when the scale is not in use. A tumbler locking device holds the steelyard assembly rigidly in place.

Lever System

To provide universal motion and to avoid undue wear of the interchangeable hardened steel knife edges and bearings, the platform is mounted on ball bearings enclosed in grease retainers. The steel knife edges and bearings are easily replaceable as and when required.
The scale is mounted on four wheels which are enclosed within the cast iron frame.The platform is available in several sizes depending upon the capacity of the scale.
